Ask us about our scholarships for travel, accommodations, and attendance!

We are proud to be partnered with Sol Systems, our first scholarship sponsor! Sol Systems’ mission is to work together with customers and partners to build, finance, and manage clean energy projects and accelerate an equitable transition to a sustainable energy future.

We are also excited to welcome their Senior Director of Impact, Adaora Ifebigh, as one of our speakers. Learn more about her panel, “The Power of Partnerships: Leveraging Scale for Successful Community-Centered Clean Energy Development”, on our Speakers page!

The company was founded in 2008, is based in Washington, D.C., and is led by its founder. Sol Systems works with institutional clients, corporate partners, and foundations to create a more sustainable future we can all believe in.

Scholarships are available! Interested in applying? Email us at ruralrenaissance@groundswell.org for an application!

While we’ve kept the registration fee at a minimum, we are sensitive to the fact that some rural communities and organizations are under-resourced in a way that makes funding an airline ticket and a hotel room tough.

If your organization is interested in sponsoring a rural leader, reach out to us at ruralrenaissance@groundswell.org for more information!

Why Bentonville?

The Wall Street Journal released an article by Kathryn O’Shea-Evans in August of 2023 calling Bentonville a “New Capital of Cool” due to its “delicious food and innovative art”! During the Roadshow you’ll get to experience a “Taste of Bentonville” - we will provide you with vouchers valid at several restaurants in Downtown Bentonville so that you can experience this for yourself, all while building relationships with the other attendees!

Restaurants are subject to change but will include a variety of cuisines from restaurants such as Tusk & Trotter American Brasserie, Oven & Tap, and Taco and Tamale Co.
