Daryl has over 35 years of experience in the not-for-profit electric utility sector at both the local and state levels. He oversees strategic planning and oversight of several areas including Economic & Community Development, Electric Utility Training & Safety, and Legislative & Regulatory services.

Daryl serves as ECG’s primary liaison with state and local officials including the governor and administration, legislators, regulators, and agency leaders, guiding the organization’s legislative and regulatory activities. He is responsible for the organization’s economic and community development strategy for the recruitment of new businesses to Georgia’s Energy Cities and the State of Georgia.

In addition, Daryl leads ECG’s Electric Utility Training and Safety program, which provides training and safety programs to over 800 electric utility professionals annually, ensuring high standards of operational excellence and safety within the industry.
